The rig is suitable for API standard zoned for oil and gas and composed as follow:
 
Semitrailer And Main Frame
 
With tree axles fixed, total mass without tractor 50 Tm, maximum dimensions 2550 mm wide
x 13.600 mm length x 4114 mm height. Frame manufactured with high strength low carbon
steel double T electrically welded, complete of extensible and folding gangways and
handrails, ladders to achieve drilling floor and rig deck. Pneumatic suspensions, single tyres
each axle 365/85 R 20 (164G), brake system pneumatic with independent loops with ABS,
24Vcc electric circuit. Stabilizers in front position, screw type manual, 2” pin, one spare tyre.
Main frame complete of plates for hydraulic stabilizers, and lower mast support for erection
operation and mast support for horizontal position during rig moving.

N°4 Stabilizers ( n° 2 front, n° 2 rear )
 
Hydraulic type be positioned on main frame by plate bolted. Pull down max. 30 metric Tons,
mechanical stop in working position, controlled with a control panel positioned on rig frame.
DRILLING FLOOR
manufactured with electrically welded steel, connected to mast forming one body.
Predisposition for clamp site. Standard height drill floor 4000 mm.
 
Mast Lattice Type
 
Two pieces with top end connections, removable in transport condition, manufactured with
high strength steel pipe welded. Compete of cradle for main hydraulic cylinder for pull up and
pull down, pad eyes to erection system, top drive guide applied to mast internal side. Internal
mast is suitable to receive the h.cylinder with sheaves and lines for pull up and down system.
Maximum pull up 100 metric Tons (110 Short Tons), maximum pull down 20 metric tons (22
Short Tons), total top drive stroke 16 meters (52.5 ft.) (RANGE3, 13,500 mt. Max).
 
Crown Block
 
Frame manufactured with high strength low carbon steel electrically welded complete of
sheaves supports, with safety run pulley bars. Eight steel sheaves with groove hardened for
32 mm ropes, complete of lubricating system. The lines are sized with a safety factor against
breaking of 4 compared to an API rig with a safety factor of 2.0 when pulling on stuck pipe.
Cylinder system for allocate the Crown block for transport position.
 
Pull Up And Down System
 
Hydraulic block to action the main cylinder. Automatic driller system or pull down, manual,
adjustable with manipulator positioned on control panel.
 
Substructure
 
Composed by n.3 skid base to support 4 hydraulic stabilizers and 2 mechanical adjustable
screw type stabilizers
 
Drilling Floor
  
Manufactured with electrically welded steel, connected to the mast forming one body.
Predisposition for clamp site, complete of API clamp full passage 27.1/2” ( 700 mm ),
containing bowl for automatic slip
Bowls according to API Spec.
Clamp removable to have a passage of 40” ( 1000 mm ) on center well.

Complete of rails, mounted on skid base in center well area including hydraulic cylinder group

Hydraulic Power Tong
 
At double body, suitable to screw and unscrew the drill pipes, and casing. Manufactured with
carbon steel welded and working finished to achieve the drill pipe from 2.7/8” to 13 3/8”.
Centralizer for drill pipe, positioned on power tong bottom side. The power tong is connected
to drill floor with bolts.

Hydraulically powered, manufactured in carbon steel electrically welded, powered by 3
hydraulic motors, complete with shock absorber on main shaft. Gooseneck and wash pipe 3”
ID, complete with fitting for wireline entry on top of Gooseneck. The wireline entry top should
have a WECO 3” FIG. 1502 connection with a minimum drift ID= 76,2 mm. Hammer union for
Rotary hose. Main shaft sliding type, pin 6 5/8 API Reg. lower connection, full passage 3”,
complete with saver sub.Tilting system suitable to add and unload the drill pipes from drilling
sling. Support device included IBOP Kelly Valve. Complete with semi-automatic lubricator.

Service Jib Crane
 
Positioned on mast, rotation with hydraulic cylinder. Hook Maximum load capacity 4T. Hook
Running speed up and down 0,6 m/s. Rope O.D. 14”. The crane is complete of 50 meters of
wire rope 14mm diameter and hook with swivel 4 metric tons capacity Crosby or equivalent
model. The service jib crane is controlled by the main panel.
 
Hydraulic Power Unit
 
Mounted on rig deck composed of : Diesel engine industrial type, Caterpillar C18 model or
equivalent , 630 HP at 1800 RPM, EPA certified, 6 cylinders in line turbocharged/aftercooled,
flame proof electrical auxiliaries, antistatic and fire resistant belts, quick closing valve with
automatic speed shut down and remote control, with special water heat exchanger for hot
temperature (55°C environment), complete of pneumatic starter, rpm counter, hours counter,
high water temperature control, lower oil pressure control, emergency stop, muffler with
sparks arrestor. Electric system Eexd. Gear coupler directly connected to engine for hydraulic
piston and gear pumps driving type Twin Disc Tecnodrive, complete of heat exchanger type

Skid base in carbon steel suitable to support the power unit. N° 1 Fire extinguisher removable

Mounted on rig deck, complete of panels for noise absorbing, filters for engine air aspiration,

powered by the driller by means of the control panel. Composed by a tubular arm with pliers
for pipes lifting on diameter from 2 3/8” to 13 3/8” (60 – 340 mm) for a maximum weight of
3000kg and a length range 3 and range 2 (patent pending)

The elevator is mounted under top drive by two pins and connected with two hydraulic

The rig is suitable for API standard zoned for oil and gas and composed as follow:
 
Semitrailer And Main Frame
 
With tree axles fixed, total mass without tractor 50 Tm, maximum dimensions 2550 mm wide
x 13.600 mm length x 4114 mm height. Frame manufactured with high strength low carbon
steel double T electrically welded, complete of extensible and folding gangways and
handrails, ladders to achieve drilling floor and rig deck. Pneumatic suspensions, single tyres
each axle 365/85 R 20 (164G), brake system pneumatic with independent loops with ABS,
24Vcc electric circuit. Stabilizers in front position, screw type manual, 2” pin, one spare tyre.
Main frame complete of plates for hydraulic stabilizers, and lower mast support for erection
operation and mast support for horizontal position during rig moving.
Spare wheel complete with wrench Michelin XZL 365/85 R20
 
N°4 Stabilizers ( n° 2 front, n° 2 rear )
 
Hydraulic type be positioned on main frame by plate bolted. Pull down max. 30 metric Tons,
mechanical stop in working position, controlled with a control panel positioned on rig frame.
DRILLING FLOOR
manufactured with electrically welded steel, connected to mast forming one body.
Predisposition for clamp site. Standard height drill floor 4000 mm.
 
Mast Lattice Type
 
Two pieces with top end connections, removable in transport condition, manufactured with
high strength steel pipe welded. Compete of cradle for main hydraulic cylinder for pull up and
pull down, pad eyes to erection system, top drive guide applied to mast internal side. Internal
mast is suitable to receive the h.cylinder with sheaves and lines for pull up and down system.
Maximum pull up 100 metric Tons (110 Short Tons), maximum pull down 20 metric tons (22
Short Tons), total top drive stroke 16 meters (52.5 ft.) (RANGE3, 13,500 mt. Max).
 
Crown Block
 
Frame manufactured with high strength low carbon steel electrically welded complete of
sheaves supports, with safety run pulley bars. Eight steel sheaves with groove hardened for
32 mm ropes, complete of lubricating system. The lines are sized with a safety factor against
breaking of 4 compared to an API rig with a safety factor of 2.0 when pulling on stuck pipe.
Cylinder system for allocate the Crown block for transport position.
 
Pull Up And Down System
 
Hydraulic block to action the main cylinder. Automatic driller system or pull down, manual,
adjustable with manipulator positioned on control panel.
 
Substructure
 
Composed by n.3 skid base to support 4 hydraulic stabilizers and 2 mechanical adjustable
screw type stabilizers
 
Drilling Floor
  
Manufactured with electrically welded steel, connected to the mast forming one body.
Predisposition for clamp site, complete of API clamp full passage 27.1/2” ( 700 mm ),
containing bowl for automatic slip
Bowls according to API Spec.
Clamp removable to have a passage of 40” ( 1000 mm ) on center well.

BOP Trolley
  
Complete of rails, mounted on skid base in center well area including hydraulic cylinder group
suitable for lift BOP (blow out preventer) during casing sticking 25 ton capacity
 
Hydraulic Power Tong
 
At double body, suitable to screw and unscrew the drill pipes, and casing. Manufactured with
carbon steel welded and working finished to achieve the drill pipe from 2.7/8” to 13 3/8”.
Centralizer for drill pipe, positioned on power tong bottom side. The power tong is connected
to drill floor with bolts.
Maximum make up 11,500 daNm
break out torque 16,000 daNm.

Automatic Slip
 
Hydraulic controlled mounted on rig floor complete of 3.1/2” DP slips, 5.1/2” – 12.3/4” CSG
Slip and 6.1/2” D.C. Slips.
 
Top Drive
 
Hydraulically powered, manufactured in carbon steel electrically welded, powered by 3
hydraulic motors, complete with shock absorber on main shaft. Gooseneck and wash pipe 3”
ID, complete with fitting for wireline entry on top of Gooseneck. The wireline entry top should
have a WECO 3” FIG. 1502 connection with a minimum drift ID= 76,2 mm. Hammer union for
Rotary hose. Main shaft sliding type, pin 6 5/8 API Reg. lower connection, full passage 3”,
complete with saver sub.Tilting system suitable to add and unload the drill pipes from drilling
sling. Support device included IBOP Kelly Valve. Complete with semi-automatic lubricator.
Maximum Torque 3450 Kgm at 50 RPM.
Maximum Torque 960 Kgm at 180 RPM.

Top Drive Dolly
 
Manufactured with carbon steel welded, suitable to support and guide the top drive, complete
of rack for flexible hoses and rotary hose. Tilting mechanism hydraulically powered to
position the drill pipes on rack or vice versa to feed the drilling string
 
Service Jib Crane
 
Positioned on mast, rotation with hydraulic cylinder. Hook Maximum load capacity 4T. Hook
Running speed up and down 0,6 m/s. Rope O.D. 14”. The crane is complete of 50 meters of
wire rope 14mm diameter and hook with swivel 4 metric tons capacity Crosby or equivalent
model. The service jib crane is controlled by the main panel.
 
Hydraulic Power Unit
 
Mounted on rig deck composed of : Diesel engine industrial type, Caterpillar C18 model or
equivalent , 630 HP at 1800 RPM, EPA certified, 6 cylinders in line turbocharged/aftercooled,
flame proof electrical auxiliaries, antistatic and fire resistant belts, quick closing valve with
automatic speed shut down and remote control, with special water heat exchanger for hot
temperature (55°C environment), complete of pneumatic starter, rpm counter, hours counter,
high water temperature control, lower oil pressure control, emergency stop, muffler with
sparks arrestor. Electric system Eexd. Gear coupler directly connected to engine for hydraulic
piston and gear pumps driving type Twin Disc Tecnodrive, complete of heat exchanger type
air-oil hydraulically powered. Piston hydraulic pumps Parker trade mark, mounted directly on
gear coupler.
Skid base in carbon steel suitable to support the power unit. N° 1 Fire extinguisher removable
type, placed near the engine hood.
 
Sound Proof Hood
 
Mounted on rig deck, complete of panels for noise absorbing, filters for engine air aspiration,
muffler support. The hood is complete of opening doors for maintenance operations.
 
Foam Injection Pump Cat
 
3535 Model, Displacement 37 GPM (136 lt/min) at 1200 PSI, 85 Bar complete with hydraulic
motor piping, fitting Relief valve.
 
Hydraulic System
 
Composed of pumps and hydraulic motors, pipes and hoses, blocks, distributors, valves,
hydraulic cylinders and fitting. All components mounted and connected to any user. Oil tank
capacity 2600 litres approx, complete of suction pipes and oil filter on return. Optical oil level,
thermometer for oil temperature control. Each suction pipes is connected to a ball valve. Heat
exchanger type air-oil Emmegì model.

Pneumatic System
 
Complete of drier air, filter, lubricator, pipes, valves and air tank 500 litres capacity.
 
Dog House
 
Dog House with 2.5 x 2.60 x 3.46 mt with twist block, two doors, with control panel and quick
connection for easy dismounting for transport.
Control panel is located into the Dog House and completed of:

lamps positioned in the substructure as per 27/28-10.08 report, n° 2 lamps on drilling floor
2x18W with emergency positioned under engine hood 230V.
Suitable for 55°C.
 
Tubular Loader (Pipe Handling)
 
Suitable to load drilling pipes, drill collar and casing from the horizontally positioned pipes
rack to the vertical position, to add them at the top drive and vice versa. Hydraulically
powered by the driller by means of the control panel. Composed by a tubular arm with pliers
for pipes lifting on diameter from 2 3/8” to 13 3/8” (60 – 340 mm) for a maximum weight of
3000kg and a length range 3 and range 2 (patent pending)

Num 01 Elevator semiautomatic, type overshot, suitable to catch DP from 2”7/8, 3.1/2”,
4.1/2” and 5”.
The elevator is mounted under top drive by two pins and connected with two hydraulic
cylinders that control the open and close liners device. Interchangeable reductions and liners
are available to catch the above described sizes casing and drill pipes.
Max load capacity 100 tons.
 
Num 01 Elevator semiautomatic, type overshot, suitable to catch CSG 7” – 9.5/8” –
13.3/8”.
The elevator is mounted under top drive by two pins and connected with two hydraulic
cylinders that control the open and close liners device. Interchangeable reductions and liners
are available to catch the above described sizes casing and drill pipes.
Max load capacity 100 tons.
