diesel engine via a high quality German drive plate and coupling.

2. The drill mast is a lattice type. The feed system uses a single hydraulic cylinder
connected to a 2:1sheave system connected to heavy duty leaf chains giving
approximately 25,000kg of extraction force with a 6.7 metre stroke.

3. Adjustable hydraulic pressure knob to control and limit the down force
on the feed so the rig base will not be raised up whilst drilling.

4. Adjustable flow control valve to control the speed in which the drill bit advances.

5. Pressure gauges on control panel for calculating either rotation torque or feed pressure.

6. Directional control valves and tilt cylinder with over centre valve and flow limiters

7. A single bent axis piston hydraulic motor coupled to a 4 speed gearbox on the
rotation gearbox.

8. A 400 litre hydraulic oil tank with sight gauge, breather cap, internal suction
screens and 10 micron filter on the return line.

9. 4 x 30,000# support jacks, which are adjustable to level the rig in uneven terrain
and to stabilize the rig.

10. 10” x 7 1⁄2” Duplex type piston mud pump driven by Sauer Danfoss hydraulic Gerola Motor.

11. 8000kg single line pull haul winch.
